Police Now’s mission is to transform communities, reduce crime and increase the public’s confidence in policing, by recruiting and developing an outstanding and diverse group of individuals to be leaders in society and on the policing frontline.
Every 100 days, Police Now participants come together to present their problem solving work at one of our 100 Day Impact Events. Participants are assessed on the impact they have had on crime and confidence in their community – presenting their work in the form of an oral presentation, poster, video or blog. Much of this work involves the four key components of the SARA problem solving model (Scanning, Analysis, Response and Assessment).
Police Now’s Impact Library brings together the presentations and supporting materials from these events, as well as a series of ‘how to’ guides. This is an interactive problem solving tool that you can use to learn about the work that Police Now officers and their colleagues are doing to help prevent crime, build confidence and ultimately help reduce demand and vulnerability.
